New DWP telephone verification!!!

How ridiculous and what a waste of money this stupid service is. I was on hold for 13 mins entered all my details i.e pin and a memorable date. Then spoke to an advisor who asked me questions then tells me i failed the security check and i need to call back.

After 13 bloody minutes on hold they say i need to call back and repeat the steps.

WHAT a waste of money this system is and im sure others will not be pleased with it!!!

  • I'm aware of what you've just been through and couldn't agree more. Staff hate this system as it does nothing to reduce errors and fraud and simply delays the payment of claims. Complete waste of taxpayers money.

This is a precursor to Universal Credit so get used to it, it will enable you to access your account online and report changes just like you do in other areas of your life.

It'll take some time to get used to it and to iron out the glitches.
