Nottingham BS - 2.7% til February 2014!
Having looked at Martins Top Fixed Rate Accounts for 1 year I had to hunt for a branch based account for a client who does not have internet access.
I came across the Nottingham Building Society who don't advertise their interest rate online
However I contacted the local branch and found that they currently seem to have the best branch based account for approx 12 months til February 2014.
I know this is more a local thing as not everyone has access to the Nottingham BS but at 2.7% with only a minimum of £1,000 its a rate worth knowing about.
Just thought I'd share and if anyone knows of any other great branch based accounts then let me know.
Vicky

Unfortunately some of these other suggestions are online only and as per my original post I need to look at non internet based savings.0

Secure trust bank don't offer internet banking, only post or phone.
Or do you mean you want branch based access - ie, you walk in with a passbook?0 -

Some "internet only" accounts mature by post.0 -
With Punjab Bank, you download the application forms and send them off with proofs of identity, accompanied by your cheque. You do not have access to internet banking if you only have fixed deposits with them.0
