Never mind... they've just emailed me this...
'you only need to use 2 usb cables on one end if you are using windows 98-otherwise just use the two main ones at either end and it will be fine'Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
nothing to do with 98, to do with power requirements - older usb adapters couldnt supply enough juice from one port - have you got a usb3 drive or 2!!

Checked the item description and it states the package will include 'USB Cable (A-mini
' which I take it to be they've sent me the wrong cable. It should have a 'normal' USB connection plus a mini one rather than 2 the same? Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
have you bought second hand
if the cable fits plug it in
if it doesn't you've got the wrong cable.!!
