Claiming interest up to court hearing

I'm at the stage of taking Abbey to court. I've read that you can claim interest up to the date of the hearing, but I did not remember reading about this when filling in court papers and filling in the templates.

I wouldn't normally worry about this but as they have dragged this out for so long now, I feel it my duty too get as much out of them as they have out of me in the last 6 years.

Yes you can claim interest right up until the court claim is actually filed so its worth putting them through the calculator in Martins article again. I've found since sending off for 6 years details for just one account (one month ago) that the interest has raised the total amount reclaimable in court by roughly £20. Good luck with your claim
