Welcome to all the newbies and welcome back to several familiar names
I've spent the weekend trying to find the right words to put with Aunty's 'announcement' in the local paper and choosing flowers (and being shocked at how much everything costs!) as well as having various discussions about funeral arrangements, etc. We finally have a date - not til Weds 28th tho!
I'm going to sort a list that includes bits from last weeks as I'm so behind and living in a hovel!
Love and hugs to all, especially L-L, LW, Toots and others dealing with stuff at the moment xx"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Hi everyone
Thanks for the list, Dusty. I'm in again this week, to whatever level I can manage. Things are a bit manic at the moment and my lack of GUAG last week and the week before and the week before that (must be something to do with going on holiday) means that I have struggled to complete the lists and eat all the other frogs that extend my "to do" list to 2 sides of A4.
However, this weekend we've had some nice sunshine, so I have managed to plant the last of the bulbs, swept leaves off the drive, finally sorted out the rota that I started working on last week, cleared a load of rubbish out of the study, shredded about a ream of copy invoices (from when I was self-employed) which I no longer need to keep (2 more reams to go), written birthday cards and letters, ordered some presents for next month, taken photos for eB@y, cooked a proper roast dinner this evening, and weighed out the ingredients for a large rich fruit cake which is for this week and next (wedding anniversary and birthday), as well as a small one for the end of December (but it will fit in the freezer if we are too full to eat it). Plus honouring various commitments to help out which I made before I lost my GUAG... I've also made and received a number of phonecalls, so I think that item can be crossed off the list immediately, as can the HHI which I did last night.
Having written it all down, I realise that I have actually achieved quite a lot this weekendthough there is still plenty to keep me occupied for the coming week, even without Dusty's lists.
I too will be lighting a candle on Tuesday.
Hope you got the "nice peaceful childfree weekend" you'd wished for, pigpen - we've missed you.
(((Hugs))) and big sticks for BDs to all who need them.
Bed is calling... Night-night all.0
