    Hi lynsayjane.

I have no idea - I hated English at school, dislike debate and writing essays ... geesh. No thanks.

But I wanted to say ... I never noticed you were in Aberdeen before. So, hi :) from another Aberdeen resident (not an Aberderdonian but I have been here 16 years now...).

    Hi lj,

What about an essay looking at the pros and cons of advertising financial services, such as loans and credit cards? Whilst people need to be aware of such services the downside is that they can encourage people to take out credit for unnecessary purchases such as expensive cars and luxurious holidays. Personaly, I think that such advertising should be banned, just as it was with cigarettes (ie, they banned advertising that glamourised smoking).

Good luck with whatever you choose to do!
