    EDIT,

Further to my above post I have just checked my email. I have redacted the PCN number but the rest is copied and pasted

    Dear Sir/Madam

    Re: Parking Charge reference 000000000/000000

We can confirm that this Charge has been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due on this account.

    Kind Regards,

    ParkingEye Team

Looks like they dont want to pay £30. Too bloomin right as I didnt do anything wrong.

I am very tempted to pop into the car park in the morning on the way to work, then again on the way home. Just to see if my ticket was a mistake, or if they actually are trying to trick people into paying them money by using the first in last out photos on their ANPR cameras.

This is interesting, worth getting another one just to see if they pull the same trick again. Worth studying the BPA CoP about the requirement to provide a POPLA verification code - and if they are repeatedly breaching it by sidestepping giving out the code, then report them to the DVLA and BPA.

I guess they don't have to provide a POPLA code if they cancel their unenforceable invoice

Yes that is true, but it seems they are dragging their heels about ever providing any of our posters with a POPLA code - then when pressed for it, they cancel.

Which makes advice even easier than normal for any newbies with a PE fake PCN. :rotfl:
