I have had someone from Slovakia bid on and win one of my items , they have not yet paid , my listing states I only post to the UK as does my postage settings , not sure how to proceed here as they have bid on item knowingly that I only post to UK on the other hand I haven't activated my usual blocks it seems to prevent them from bidding , If I do decide to proceed with transaction what is the best way to send it ? as I feel it is kind of my fault as well as theirs . Thanks in advance for any replies x

If it is under £46 then standard airmail with a COP in case of loss .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Wait until they pay, then ask them for a verified UK address. OR... If it's over £46, get a quote for a tracked courier, and send them an invoice for the additional cost.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
What should you do? Read the rules before you list something next time and block buyers in countries you don't want to bid. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Ha ha thought some smart alec would come along & say that ! Which is most probably why I did say in my post it was partly my fault !! I had used my mobile to list and thought it had saved my previous seller settings obviously not but never mind have msged them saying I will weigh item for them and let them know cost to post
Thanks for the constructive comments

Just send it, when they have paid, and get certificate of posting.
I think you could politely ask for a contribution towards the cost of the extra postage but if it were me I would just suck it up and be grateful I have a sale.
Can't figure out why you wouldn't want to sell to overseas buyers. I have a blocked list of countries, about 12, including Italy but otherwise it's great, they're buyers the same as in this country.0 -

Buyer is not entitled to expect it sent at UK rates. Op needs to get an invoice out mega quick to avoid a chancer paying the UK price once they have sent a fixed invoice with correct postage buyer either has to pay correct amount or face an NPB.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
