Has anyone made or are making their own christmas decorations?
My mum said she would like some of those paper bells/balls so ive been looking at this site http://www.pearlandearl.co.uk/decorations/ Sort of a mordern take on an old fashioned theme. Im thinking the fans and pom poms would be quite easy to make. Anyone done these?
They also do streamers but you can buy 80ft crepe paper streamers for £1 so trying to thing of something inventive I could do with one! Any ideas?
Im also really into decorating the tree in handmade (its only small) so looking for ideas for that as well.

Strings of popcorn and gingerbread shapes for the tree, or felt decorations, they are easy to cut out and sew.0

Define "small"... I say that because my grand father always had a tiny christmas tree in "his" room in the house... it was one of those that you get that have often been sprayed with white snow and you can buy them for I think £5 in Tesco...
We made stars for them, garlands with little stickers (string and then two star stickers sandwiching it), stamps became little cones, pearls became baubles... they looked super pretty

When my kids were small I was worried about glass baubles.
I went to the local florists and they showed me how to make really pretty bows from foil ribbon. I bought enough ribbon to decorate the tree in gold and red bows and used them 3 years running.
Hope this might help.
