Depends what's the matter with it. Can you fix it yourself?

Mine stopped working once (wouldn't drain or progress in cycle - kept jamming etc) - I googled the problem and got some tips including laying it on its side (go figure!) and it worked.

Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
  • you say 'again'. could well be cheaper to buy one.

I got mine on eBay for £100. It was silver. If I'd have wanted a white one I could've got one for £50.

Have a look on the website of the manufacturer...it usually points you to approved repair dealers...most of these now charge a fixed call out fee which sometimes also include the parts...from that you will probably be able to work out whether the cost of a repair is better value than a replacement.

You could also google domestic appliance repair in your area, that may show local tradesmen who could also repair your machine....although do check if you get charged by the hour or for the job...sometimes a fixed fee repair can work out a better option

The idea of googling the problem is also very good,it may be a simple thing to fix and end up not requiring any tradesmen!
