Home insurance - what do I put in business use?

I'm currently getting house insurance quotes. OH is a self-employed plumber, has his van etc and appropriate tool, public liability insurances etc. I imagine that the property will be clerical use only, as this is the only element of the business we are running in the house, is this correct?

Yes - home insurance normally wants to know if you use the home for clerical use and you will normally have cover for usual business equipment - computers, printers, etc.
You do need to declare the business use to future insurers - they may also ask about visitors to the property in relation to the business, stock & cash held, etc.0 -
IME self employed tradesmen tend to be ok putting down "no" to business use of the home, as clerical is often assumed as standard.
I'd get quotes on the basis of a "no" answer to the question, then check with t your preferred company by looking at their policy or phoning them.0
