Car sold 'with Bluetooth' but Bluetooth faulty

Hi everyone
Bought a second hand car (VW Polo) from a dealership a few weeks ago. Under specifications one of the things was that it had bluetooth. When I went to look I wasn't on but I didn't think much about it. When I got it home I tried to connect my phone to it but to no avail, the screen was blank (it's a parrot that has been fitted to the dash) so we checked the fuse box but apparently that looks fine.
I phone the dealership and explained the problem and they said bring it in and they'd have a look. However this wasn't satisfactory for me as the dealership is about 90 minutes away from where I live so would cost time and money. They said that's ok they'd authorise a local dealer to have a look instead. 2 weeks later and I'm still waiting to hear what's happening, I phone last week and was told he was still waiting to hear from the place they'd found near my house - I think they're just fobbing me off!
Basically I just want to have the Bluetooth working and I don't want to pay for it myself. Neither to I want to drive all the way back to the dealer as this is 25 quid in fuel and half a day off work for the pleasure. As far as I'm concerned the car was sold with Bluetooth so it's down to the dealer to sort it out and not leave me out of pocket?
Any advice appreciated
Helen

Bit daft buying a car from a place that you consider too far away to take it should any faults arise. Did that not occur to you before purchasing?0

I have a warranty for engine faults etc that allows me to take to a local garage for repair. So yes that was considered and I took a risk with none engine faults."A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on" - Winston Churchill0

Why don't you phone your local dealer to see if they've been in contact. Is the car AUC (approved used)? How old is it?
They don't have a local dealership as its an indepedent dealer they said they would contact 'a local dealer' so not part of that company.
It's a 58 plate. Dunno about approved?"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on" - Winston Churchill0 -

My point is this is not a fault that has developed, it wasn't working when they let me take it away"A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on" - Winston Churchill0 -

A gamble, wasn't it?0 -
If it were me id either go to where you bought it from or call the authorised local dealer. Would depend how bad I would want it fixed.0

A new fitted bluetooth kit would cost you about £100 from Halfords.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0

Dealer can fix it for you.
It is not his fault that, you choose a dealer that is 100+ miles away.
Given the situation of distance. Should you have not checked it all was all working 1st....
I'm sure that they will fix it FOC. If you return the car to them. But is it fair to expect them to pick up the tab for you to return it.....
Did you ask them to pay your travel costs when you picked the car up?Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
