My wife bought an '05 Kia Sportage (the same as a Tucson) in Feb and loves it. The 2.0l diesel auto isn't very powerful, or economic, but it's OK.
Hers had had a couple of thousand spent on new brakes and suspension etc at 50k, not sure if this is usual or because it was a Brighton car and the saltwater took its toll.
I believe cambelts are expensive to do at around £600 but not due for 100k.0 -
If you need a proper 4x4 buy the one that has diff locks.
Can you lock up an axle? Been off roading many times and some vehicles are a joke. One wheel loses grip all the power will goto that one..
Some will lock front/rear so you need 2 spinning wheels to get stuck one front one rear. But others can also lock left to right. This is what you want.
So if you get 1 front and 1 rear tyre lose traction your as stuck as that 2WD car in front of you.
Some have mechanical locks and some do it electrically, Some use the brakes and ABS.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
