I was reffering to an account that has been closed for 3 years? they seem to reffer to accounts that have been closed due to requesting fees back.
Any idea?0 -

In short, YES
You can claim from closed accounts. In my case, I closed due to the excessive charges and unwillingness to budge. Once closed, Abbey then banged on another £185 in charges and then sent the account to creditors when I disputed it. This created a bad credit record, after years of repairing it since my student days! Its for this reason alone that I have pursued this case, due to sickening and cynical attitude of banks that have zero respect for their non-cash-rich customers.
This whole movement (thanks martin) is the perfect display of people power...sorry to get on the soap box!
