QUINN DIRECT Buyer beware

I am currently searching for car insurance to include full extension of cover while travelling in Europe
One of the most favourable quotes was from QUINN DIRECT
Their policy summary promised FULL European cover for up to 90 days
In the policy detail (the small print) the cover is reduced to the legal minimum for the country you are in and does not cover damage to your own vehicle.
I phoned Quinn and was told that to provide FULL cover in Europe would actually cost an extra £42
This is at the very least misleading and I am inclined to report them to trading standards or the FSA
Has anyone else come across this
