Gumtree purchase - item not as described

when he delivered it it seemed ok so i payed him.

So you buy a cheap bike needing work, and are disappointed when it needs more?

It's a used bike, it's not going to be perfect is it. I think buying from a shop with warranty is a better idea next time.
