Lloyds Credit Card PPI Claim

Hello,

I need your advice. I filled the claim questionnaire and sent it to Lloyds around a month ago. They mailed me back saying that I had no PPI on my credit card. I don't know whether it is true as I don't have my statements, and my current statements do not say anything about it. I don't know how to check, or whether to believe them. Is there anyone experienced the same situation? Thanks.

If your statements do not show anything then you probably dont have PPI as the bank says.

Just out of interest, when you were filling out the forms, why did you think you were mis-sold any PPI (that you dont appear to have had)?

This is why the FOS is 12-18 months behind tracking some peoples legitimate complaints.
  • So can we take it that you put in a fraudulent claim for something you never had in the first place?
  • HI,

I should have explained it little bit more I think. I called Lloyds customer services and asked them whether I had PPI on my credit card (as I don't receive paper statements, and online version I could not see if I had it or not). When I called them I told them I was not sure if I had it or not, and requested them to check it for me. And the representative advised me to fill the questionnaire and send them so they can investigate it for me. That's what I did. After that I received the letter saying I did not have PPI. And here I just kindly asked if this happened to someone else here, as I've never done anything like this before. Thanks for your replies though...
