Now seller is saying they haven't received it (yeah right).
Can I claim this back from the royal mail, as technically this is lost. How do I prove value?
Or have I made a big error and going to be out of pocket on this? The item is a cd and bought for a tenner.

Have you got proof of posting?
If yes use this to claim0 -
Yes, always get POP, but concerned about proving proof of value.
Should I open a case with ebay?0 -
You are fine claiming just once, the proof of posting is enough so long as you arent running a business. You will have to wait a while and obviously if it is fraud the other guy better watch out0

Things do go missing sometimes - you can't assume that you have a lying buyer as there is no way you can tell.marking_bad wrote: »Now seller is saying they haven't received it (yeah right).0 -

A mighty coincidence though since the seller was reluctant to take the item back, no?
I'd like to know some stats on how much mail goes missing, I'm sure I'm way above average on cds/dvds/games.0 -
watch their listings over the next couple of weeks and see if it reappears!
