Oooh a quick Ninja-post while at work..
I brought my purse in today (I had to ban myself from bringing it to work again as I got lazy and was buying in breakfast and lunches again, whoops) as I my hand cream in work is running out and I need a hair dye (semi permanent so the current one is fading out)
Well... I have decided not to spend the money, my hair is dark brown naturally now anyway so I'm going to forego dying it black for a little while longer until money is a bit freer and easier, and I'll try using up the multiple misc body creams I have at home before I buy another hand cream. Not sure if they'll be creamy enough but I don't use them on my body (they came as parts of sets I've been given over the years) so I can give them a go right?
I recon that's saved me from spending around £10 todayApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
So, one of my last few posts in my diary. Definately appreciated having somewhere to put thoughts down, even if they have been really patchy
Exchange finally happened on our rental house last week, completion for this week. Then I can start the process of transferring the max daily amount out, multiple times, so that I can start paying things off, and then saving the last bit to get the building work done on the house and the heating replaced.April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Goodness, I want to explode in work! Completion happened early this morning on the rental property, the mortgage account has been paid off, and the equity had hit my account by lunchtime!!
I've just managed to pay our old extension loan off, and my 'bank of Mum and Dad' loan too. Going to pay off a small loan of Mr Shortie's when he gets the redemption figure through, will pay off the outstanding balance on the holiday tomorrow of Saturday, put money into a side account for the tax due on the rental income.... then we can top up the remainder so that we can then get our building work done
Oh my goodness, the sense of relief. My two debts were really stinging as I set them to pay off in the shortest time I could afford, but it ended up really hurting - so glad to see the back of those.
Phhhheeew
I guess this may be the last entry into my diary...!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
