Have you declared to the mortgage lender that £15K of the deposit is coming from the parents of someone who won't be on the mortgage?

As far as I know from MA they have been told the £25k is coming from family, as my parents in law are my family.

I'd be interested to know how mortgage brokers on here view that state of affairs. It could be fine as you're married, but I recall previous threads on here where there have been difficulties in similar situations. Given that your MA hasn't covered himself in glory in other ways on this thread, according to consensus, if you don't get follow-up on this thread, it might be worth posting the specific question on the Mortgages sub-forum.
