You can claim for the mis-selling of the ppi- but they will just use it to reduce the outstanding balance.DEBTFREE AND PROUD!!0

Only you can make that decision, you only get one bite of the cherry though so make sure you get all the right reasons in that claim0 -
i work in a industry that does not make redundancies
I took a job in an industry that was widely seen as a "job for life". 125,000 have been made redundant in that industry since 2010.0 -
i am still working and can see no change in the near future,0

Are you in the police force then. No one can forsee the future, you could be crippled getting across the road tomorrow.
Reading up on the small print after the signind is doing it the wrong way round, Youre supposed to read it first.
He said, she said isnt provablemake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

But you say in your first post 'financial hardship' even though you have a job for life. Why not look for a job which is better paid to get you out of financial hardship.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Yes, put a claim in. It sounds like it was single premium, so that's one reason. If you work for the police force, you can add that one in a reason because you can't be made redundant.
It doesn't matter if you're in financial hardship, that's not a reason, that's just you being unable to forsee your future finances [not a clever thing, but then, none of us are perfect]
Good luck.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
also i was told to get a ppi would get a competative rate, after reading the small print it states you do not need ppi to get the loan,to me that is mis selling!!
That is not mis-selling. Firms are allowed to offer cross subsidised deals.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
