If you always enter the roundabout in the outside lane you can't be wrong, because you can just go round again!! Confuses the satnav tho'!
There are a few satnavs that run on AA batteries, the Garmin i3, Mio 210, Medion 205. No real advantage in this. The Garmin NUVI runs for 4 hours on its internal battery, tomtom one about 2 hours.0 -
I just got a navman f20 off ebuyer for £115. Aint tried it out properly yet but been playing around with it and it seems like a good bit of kit :cool:0

I think you'll find that most of them do that anyhow.
The problem with satnav is,that people buy them, and don't read the instructions and set them up right initially, and then blame the machine when things go wrong.
I have had my Navman for 2 years, and I set it up from the beginning to my personal way of usage whilst driving 44t artics, and it has rarely let me down.
I have it set to avoid toll roads, tunnels, unmade roads, and 99.9% of the time,it is spot on.
Ken.
Hi Ken, can the sat nav direct you away from low bridges as hubby drives a rigid and would like to use his but is worried it may lead him down a road with low bridge and him unable to turn round. Thanks, by the way you going to truckfest this year? And yes the lady in the avatar is me
