Student/Graduate Account Overdraft

Have an overdraft facility with the bank of Scotland. Its a student account still(probs turn to a grad account soon! Planning on going travelling for 12-18months this summer.....would love(& may rely on it) to have my overdraft facility kept at the limit it is and interst free...is that possibile? How long can you agree on an overdraft for?? My agrred limit of £1750 expires in August, in August can i call up the bank(might not be in the country then) & agree for it to be at the same limti for another year??
