Alternatives to Ceramic Tiles for Bathroom

I'm intending to retile my bathroom floor, which minus the bath is only about 3 square metres. I'd like something that is warm to the touch so want to avoid ceramic tiles, but notice that all the wooden/engineered floor tiles that I have seen are not suitable for bathrooms.
Is there a type of wooden flooring that can be used in bathrooms, or can wooden tiles be sealed with a layer of varnish to protect them from moisture?
I have seen a few vinyl tiles, usually with a fake wood finish - are these any good, or would I be better sticking with lino? Are there any other alternatives?
Many thanks for any help!

What about the good old cushion floor ? (what used to be known as lino, but far more spongy)0

You could use Aquastep, Aquaplank, or Aquatile.

You can get laminate flooring that's done for bathrooms nowIt's not the cheapest laminate going lol but it's not as if a huge amount is needed anyway.

Karndean is very nice - I love the metallic and pebble designs. Was too expensive for us though, so I opted for carpet which we replace very regularly.

We went down the karndean route for our bathrooms and being small rooms the cost (although expensive) is not too bad.
Whatever you buy will be much the same price to lay.
I'm not a fan of carpets in bathrooms especially with kids and Mr I P Squint in the house.0 -
Many thanks for all your help, much appreciated!0

There are some really beautiful corks which are not speckled orange like the seventies tiles, but more softer colours and marbled patterns.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
