How much Drontal?

Probably a silly question..

Our cats(kittens) are around 3kg so trying to work out if they need 1 tablet or just half. The dosage suggests 1 tablet per 4kg, half for 2kg but does not mention what to give between the weights!!

A google search gives both 1 tab and half, pets at home man said 1 and the vets are now closed. Have given each cat 1/2 a tablet but wanting to know if they should have the other half???

So its a 1/4 of a tablet per kg? So 3/4 of a tablet for a 3kg cat.

However, Drontal tastes vile and so splitting the tablets will make them harder to give. Can you pill pop?

If you can't I'd consider giving a whole tablet, it is no where near an overdose and better to treat fully that give too small a dose.

In future aske for milbemax, smaller, less vile tasting and 1 tablet for cats 4kg and under...
