Do CTC inform IS automatically?

Hello.
My husband and I are currently on IS due to me being disabled (I haven't been transferred to ESA yet) and he receives CA for looking after me. I also receive DLA and we receive HB and CTB.
I'm currently pregnant with our first child and was wondering, when we claim CTC, will IS be informed automatically or do we do it?
I know that we inform HB and CTB.
Also, will IS be affected at all? I still meet the criteria for disability under it (for those who were on it for those reasons before ESA) but wasn't sure if it might trigger an ESA migration.
Just trying to get everything in order ready for when baby arrives.
Thank you.

there is a system in place for DWP, HMRC and your local council to share some information but you should NEVER leave it up to them to tell each other. It is your responsibility to keep them updated and failure to do so could result in overpayments or underpayments in benefits.0

That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure. Trying to create a timetable of things to do so I don't forget anything!
Does anyone know if there will be a break in the IS payments after I notify them? A break in payments isn't really a good thing when you have a newborn!0
