Telephone Scam - Offline Computer Check

Just wanted to let people know that a couple of weeks ago I had a call from a company called G Results who told me that my computer had an error and that they wanted to run an offline computer check to fix the problem.
I'm a computer engineer so after listening to them waffle on for a little bit I straight asked them if this was a scam call, and rather then try and talk their way out of it they hung up on me, rude...
Since then I have had 3 more calls from the same company, with the same outcomes, I then called BT to report it and see if they could give me any information on it they told me that the call came from overseas and that there was nothing they could do and that they've seen a lot of this recently, but told me that I should never give out any information to any company unless I'm sure that they are legit, and even then to be careful about what information I give out.
I just wanted to put this out there so that other people where aware, if in doubt about your PC there are plenty of legit companies around that will look at it for you.

I got one too - played along with it pretended to press the keys they wanted me to - I got put through to a managerial supervisor - took them a good 10 minutes before the penny dropped and I was winding them up - they might be foreigners but they certainly know Anglo Saxon English! LOL0
