When will the nexus 10 be in the shops

Looking to get a tablet and at the moment the nexus 10 is top of the list, but I would like to see it before I buy. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available in stores at the moment, not sure why this is.

Anyone got any ideas

I've seen a few people claim that Google are selling it only on their own store for the first month before it reaches stores although I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere. At the moment the Nexus 10 is in short supply and they're selling out fast on the Google store so I assume they'll only be available to retail when the supply stabilises.
