CP Plus Ticket at Wetherby services

Hi there,
Been reading the forum today because I went and got myself a ticket at Wetherby today. Was on the A1(M) and really needing to make a "Pit Stop". Pulled into the services in the work's van and the car park was pretty full with quite a few cars queuing to get in too. So I pull into the Caravan only bays and shoot inside. Come back and find a little yellow packet on the window wanting £90 for being parked in the wrong place.
Want to ignore the ticket but not sure if I can and need to know what to tell the boss as he'll probably get the demanding letters.
Any and all advice welcome.

Pop an email to cp plus pointing out you were the driver of the vehicle, that hopefully will stop them contacting your employers and if the vehicle is leased the company who does that. Once you got them writing to you just ignore them, they won't be able to go back to your boss etc afterExcel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
I was at those services recently. It was quite funny to see the CP Plus goons (Look like ex clamper knuckle draggers) walking around looking for victims of their scam.
The thing that really made me laugh was they were wearing hi-viz coats with the slogan 'Here to Help' across the back.
I agree with the above as you were in a company vehicle. Once you have identified yourself as the driver CP Plus are screwed.
The next time I'm passing and need a 'comfort stop' I'll try and get a ticket from them. So far CP Plus have only ever sent me ANPR generated tickets. It would be nice to add to my collection.0
