I phone

Options
My daughter wants a new mobile phone, camera and ipod, all are old and do need to be replace. Rather than buying a new phone, ipod and camera would an iphone do all 3 things and if so which iphone 4, 4s or 5 and last question is the Apple Store the cheapest place to buy one.

Yeah but be warned, you'd be looking at at least 32gb minimum.
Frankly go for a five because it's the newest one out there, and the next one down is only available from apple, sim free, @ 16gb.
If it's to be a music player as well, then you need a fair bit of space on it for music (hence the 32 minimum)

Cheapest at apple store? Well. Depends on so much. If your daughter pays her own way, and is happy with her current deal/sim (and has or can add decent data amount) then yes it is cheaper to buy direct from apple.
If you don't mind signing up for a 24 month contact, then from a mobile provider would be best. This is a Contract deal, that you will probably have to pay a nominal amount for the phone, then x amount minimum a month, ,plus any out of contract mins/data/texts. So it comes down to trusting that your daughter wont go over any amount, and you realising you are signing the contract, so it all comes down to you.

BAsically work out the amount she currently spends per month, plus the cost of phone. Then versus that against a mobile phone contract deal, or PAYG and see which is cheaper over 24 months. I doubt you'd want to pay high pounds to get a 12 month contract. Remember contracts all contain free mins, data, and texts to add into the equation.

Wouldn't take an iphone over a decent camera though, however the pictures are more than passable, if you're not looking to do top work.
