SNAD - Seller told me to resell! What is best to do now?

I posted earlier in the week that a seller was ignoring my request for a refund they have now replied with the following:
"Hello,
I am sorry but this item is non-refundable! We advise that you re-sell the item on eBay like others who are unhappy with a purchase! You mentioned that the condition was not what the description said! It said it was in good condition, which it is!"
I guess I now have to open a dispute could someone point me in the right direction? Where do I open the dispute? Would you give the seller a second chance?
There is no way I would be prepared to re-sell the item the only place its fit for is a rubbish bin! Unfortunately I will be out of pocket for the return postage as its quite a big and heavy box of broken, filthy dirty plastic but I would rather be out of pocket for that than the actual cost of the item as it was over £50.

If it's not as described then you are entitled to a full refund.
To get it, it seems you'll have to do it the hard way and raise a dispute, as you suggest.
Do ensure you send the item back via a trackable form of shipping and don't expect the return postage to be refunded.
PS Just noticed it is over £50 and standard Royal Mail compensation is (I believe) £46, so you'll have to pay a small premium for the full insurance."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."

I'm thinking of sending it back via MyHermes is this a 'safe' way to return it providing I pay the extra to insure it and get a signature?0
