Have you tried any of the builders' merchants in your area? Jewson, Travis Perkins, Buildbase, Ridgeons or any of your local independent merchants?0

No I get sick of people coming on here just to try and be cocky. this is a site that people can ask for help not sarcasm!! Life is just sad for some people.
This site is to help people with DIY problems!! You can see i have already looked due to saying about Wickes.0 -

Thanks for the suggestions, but yes I have tried with no luck. I have found a couple of places online but it is minimum £15 postage, was hoping not to pay that much.
Tomorrow I am going to the local metal place to see if they can make them.0 -
You'd probably be surprised how many people don't (or can't be) bother(ed) to do their own research first so his answer might not be unexpected. Of course if your question had said "I've Googled until I'm cross-eyed but can't find the answer - please help" then you wouldn't have got that response.
really isn't necessary.

yes you did say you looked in wicks but you didn't say you had goggled it so diable suggestion was very valid as it did list a number of places to buy from, like others have said either a stair manifacturer or a proper builders merchant would prob be the best idea.I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

If you've checked out Wickes then you haven't made enough effort to find what you require.
My nuts may be dumb but at least I know where to find things0
