This is the 120 gig hd, 1 gig mem, GeForce graphics etc..

£530 at Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-Aspire-5633WLMi-Laptop-Windows/dp/B000OY4MCO/ref=pd_sbs_ce_2/026-8733126-1628436

Still close to 700 on some sites (I know it’s 450ish on the Morgan site but those are refubs and I’d prefer a shiny new one !!)

    ..2p cheaper :D

I'm interested in this myself, and would rather order from amazon because then I can get my 5% NUS discount, but that 4-6 week wait doesn't look too promising

You know, I'd completely missed the 4 to 6 week lead time !! Bummer...

Looks like it'll have to be acernotebooks then, I did start a thread asking if anyone had used them and only had 1 reply from someone who had, which was positive. But their feedback on some of the sites is a little odd !

The feedbacks all come in batches ? which seems strange, unless Kelkoo process them that way ?
(Anyone who was overly paranoid might think they were adding them, them selves when it was quite !!)

Perhaps the bad reviews are all by the same disgruntled buyer.

I have never used them though so can't comment on the company but my feelings are that its the same person.

It wasn't the bad feedback I thought was odd. it was the fact that the positive feedback get posted 5 or 6 on one day then nothing for weeks and then another batch ? Just seems strange ? As I said, it maybe that, that's how Kelkoo process the info and I maybe seeing things that aren't there !!!

refurbs on the dixons chain websites £369.99,,,, use a £10 code and dixons or £20 code at currys.

go thru quidco and get 3.5% and used my egg card for another 7% off.

they also have Norton 360 at half price.... £30 for a 3 user pack.
