Income protection

Hi, I have chronic fatigue syndrome and probably in the next couple of years I should regain a full recovery, and return to full time work. I would like to be able to insure against me getting ill again. I have no mortgage or other money problems, as I live at home with my parents.

Would I be able to get income protection cover, will this insure against chronic fatigue syndrome?

Thanks for any help.

I would think you will find it difficult to insure against a pre-existing or recurring medical condition. Most (if not all?) proposal forms ask you to declare any problem and will then either exclude this or charge you an exhorbitant premium.

If you lie or omit to declare then your insurance may become invalid.
