I will be spending. I will be spending big style. I have a £20 Next voucher I got last year and I fully expect to get another one to add to it this December. There is a pair of trousers I have my eye on.
  • How sad to call Christmas a disaster based on shop turnover and profits.

Will be spending precisely the same amount as last year. 20 quid on cards and an extra 150 on food and booze. I got me geese this year so less to spend on the big roast.

As atheists, we don't give or take presents. I prefer the company of family to the tat of consumerism. (I bough her indoors a colander as we practice pastafarianism).

I have a bottle of sloe gin for each of the neighbours but that's more to consume with them at some stage.

Does it matter. If Cameron is the leader the country needs he will continue to make unpopular decisions.
  • What a negative view to have! Just because you won't be spending doesn't mean others won't be.
  • i'm all right Jack, got a bit of money to spend but most of all i'll be spending time with my lovely family - priceless.
