Hotel Caterers & Menu...or...Your Own caterers & Menu

I have been looking around at hotels and the cost if £$£$£$ and more so because we have a large yet close family. Also, the menu looks 'too posh'.
Would you hire a hall / manor house / golf club where you can have your own caterers or use a hotel and have their food?
My family are very fussy eaters so I would love to have 'Sausage, Mash and Gravy' on the menu!!!

IMO your best bet is to spend a few wkends researching venues and go from there

Also set a budget and work to that !0 -
No offence but why don't you just put all these questions into one thread rather than posting each one separately?
Surely a single thread called something like 'Wedding planning help needed' will be perfectly clear as to what kind of information you're after?0 -

Because I done that and only one thing got answered. So I thought separate posts about the things key to me was better and easier for people to type a quick brief comment.
Maybe I am just a perfectionist and new stuff comes to me all the time.0 -
