New boiler flue = new boiler?

Then could I go back to my original question: could I have a different flue put on this boiler (by someone who actually knows what they are doing!)?

reading the MI for your boiler it only shows a side or rear flue option & the drawing of the house giving distances req doesn't show a vertical flue distance, therefore i would say this isn't suitable to go up & over the roof of the leantoo, the min distance from an opening ie window/door in your leantoo is 1200mm & you can only use 3 x 1m extensions so unless you can re-route the flue so it goes straight (not down like it is now) then it's either move it (prob not worth it given the age which i think you will find is more than 11 yrs i was fitting these in the 80's) or new boiler time then you should be able to fit a plume kit through the leantoo roof, however you would still need to check with the new boiler manifacturer that they are happy with the air intake being that close.

the only thing you may be able to do depending on the depth of the leantoo & if you can still get the flue is to extend it straight out the side of the boiler & extend it to passed the guttering with suitable brackets, this of course may mean the flue is too low & isn't going to look very nice (try goggling balcony kit to see what i mean)

I would be surprised if any RGI either installed or serviced that & if they did then they have no right to be reg
