Hi, I need some help Please
never-say-never
I am currently claiming £763.92 plus £80 court cost from RBS. They have just sent me a offer of £539.00 to be paid direct into my bank account. The bank account was closed 3 years ago. I would like to accept the £539.00 as a part payment.
Has anyone got a template letter that I can copy, as I don't want to !!!! up my claim at this late stage. I would also like them to send me a cheque is this possible.
I have issued a court claim and the 28 days are up on the 26th April.
Please help

Just write a simple letter to state that you will accept the £539.00 as partial settlement without prejudice and will continue to reclaim the remainder at court. That you do not operate the account in question since it is closed and therefore require payment direct by cheque made payable to yourself to place in the account you presently hold. Thats all there is to it really
