Only spent 59p today on a bag of cotton wool. Also bought a programme for my computer for 4.99 but this was out of my "gift money" (money iv had for bday/easter etc) and 250 of my boots points on a wrap for my lunch because i couldn't possibly face the 45 min walk home without eating something first.

So all in all a pretty good day.

I had a phone call from DH at 5 o'clock asking me to pick up a prescription for him, so that cost me £6.85

Hahaha, yes, that's a pretty good explanation of a 'lightbulb moment'. I think it's that cold shivery feeling that runs down your spine when you realise you have hit the point where things have to change, and you can no longer keep wading through the piles of 'cash-poo' :D
    HA HA.... I have special cash-poo wading wellies!!!:D :D:D

Not sure about other abbreviations - there's a few that people use such as OH (other half), DH (dear hubby), DS/DD (dear/darling son/daughter), just ask if there's any you don't understand. have just seen another.... SOA? silly old ar**??!!!!!:D :D

It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but most people are very friendly and welcoming, so just take a deep breath and jump in. i am just having a slight 'disagreement' with someone else on another page!!!!

And erm, yes, being a DFW can affect how much work you get done :), it took me about 2 hours to clean the bathroom this morning because I was so engrossed in whether or not someone on here's husband had passed their driving test!hm,well that sounds perfectly reasonable to me..... its a very important issue!!!
