HSBC Credit Card Fraud

Hi,
I'm new to the forum but I need help...
Last night, I found two fraudulent transactions on my account. When I rang to complain, it was close to 10pm (which is when their customer service closes) but after speaking to two customer service representatives, I managed to organise a callback.
The customer service rep I spoke to doubted that I signed up to an escorting agency via subscription and mentioned a payment for London Borough of Camden. All transactions in the last week were declined - I hardly ever use it physically; it's always done online.
Today, I found that this Camden payment had gone through - AFTER I confirmed that I didn't make the payment. Now, I am overdrawn in my account so facing additional fees, over £200 out of pocket and have to face another 12 hours of possible activity because there is no-one to complain to.
Is there enough cause to complain to a regulator or financial ombudsman? This is the second time my card (which is rarely used offline) has faced fraudulent action and I notice it too late to stop it.
Please help!

It could be possible to call the number on the back of your card and discuss with them for 24 hour assistance? You could block your card and then later request for another... ??I am Novice wrt Knowledge on UK Banking industry. I post based on my own experiences and knowledge of using credit cards overseas.0

So given you had noticed the fraud. Something must have debited. Then even if they stopped your card there and then. Any transactions that were authorised will still debit onto your account.
It is not possible to stop them from debiting. Just to inform you any auths can sit there for 14 days before they debit.
Even a refered/declined transaction can be forced through by the retailer...
Why do you want to complain? Its not HSBC committing the fraud.
Given it is fraud. You will be refunded ALL interest and any charges due to it.
Online/offline makes no diffrence. At some point you have used your card where somone is taking details.
You can't pick up fraud before it debits. You will only see it after it has debited.
You will still be refunded. So relax (as frankie said) and stop panicing.
Just wait and talk to the fraud department once its open and they will deal with it for you.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0
