Congratulations! I got engaged on St Patrick's Day, just a couple of weeks before my 30th at the beginning of this month, so I know how it feels!

I'm trying to be as DFW about the wedding as possible but he hasn't bought into the philosophy yet so it's turning out to be quite a challenge.

I'm off to find this epic wedding thread too. Thanks, Lynz for the tip on cakes, I had been starting to worry about that (and I'm not getting married for another 30 months!)

Molanole, happy birthday and many congratulations on your engagement

So come on, details, how did he do it? Was it romantic? Is there a ring?
