Does anyone have any experience of Mercedes or BMW Hire Purchase?
I earn 28k a year, can put down a 5k deposit and I am interested in a C class saloon or BMW 3 series. I have 2 credit cards with combined limits of £2300, however no balances on either. Other than that I have 2 current accounts, with the overdrafts never used and a mobile phone contract which is about 2.5 years old and always paid on time.
Any advice appreciated on whether I am likely to be accepted or not.
thanks.

There is a greater chance of getting accepted because the finance is against the car not you, so there is less risk to them.

You must do the same job as me!
However I have no desire to give off middle class appearances, dont care what anyone else thinks, have my own house, I drive an old Vectra, I have no debt, no credit card and no problems. Ihave realised that social class is an illusion designed to keep the public in debt and under thumb.
Stay away from debt, its the money saving way ;}“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

What if he just wants to drive a new car?
Maybe he doesnt want to drive an old vectra?
Any 'flash' car i've ever owned i've bought because it impresses me, not to try to impress anyone else. If it !!!!es other people off then thats just an added bonus.
