Over the last week or so I've had problems with the talk talk webmail. First off it wouldn't let me open any attachments and photos were only partially downloaded.
Now I can't open any emails at all -when I click to open them I'm just gettin a message saying that the email can't be opened and may have been corrupted.
Anyone else having problems or have any suggestions?

Have you tried using Windows Live Mail 2012 or Mozila Thunderbird e-mail programs to bring in your TT emails? It might help in diagnosing whether or not it is TT or just your computer!!

I use Firefox and over the last2/3 weeks it keeps opening in basic mode saying FF17.4(?), latest version anyway, isn't supported.
I can select to use standard service un supported and it does but don't know if that has anything to do with it."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Ok, managed to open them on the works computer without a problem.
The laptop is still giving the error message on IE, and chrome won't open them at all - click open and absolutely nothing happens at all.
Just downloaded firefox, and am getting the same problem. But the yahoo mail is working fine.
So if it is the laptop, what do I do now?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I have just changed iSP. The one I had previously had a Webmail service that was "unsupported" in the last 4 or 5 updates of Firefox.
When I set up my next ISP, I specifically asked that they use my Hotmail account and not the Webmail that they provided.
The reason that FF does not support Webmail is simple: it is not as secure as specific mail services such as Hotmail, Google- or G-mail, etc.
Whilst on the subject of e mail security, I would like to point out the dangers of using a real name as an email address. For example-
fredbloggs@this mail.co.uk
I have a neighbour who did this last year, and received lots of cold calls, eventually a computer scammer from asia took her to the cleaners. Using the Electoral roll and certain telephone number "finder" services, it is possible to do this. One piece of ID information can lead to another.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Don't know if it's relevant but someone accessing a lineone.net webmail account was experiencing similar problems https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/56812225#Comment_56812225. Lineone was taken over by talktalk so the problem may be at their end, though I've experienced no problems accessing talktalk or another ISP's webmail either through IE or the current version of Firefox.0

How do I disable adblock add ins, as suggested? I can't see what I'm looking for on the list.
Edit -I've not changed anything in the settings or elsewhere in the last week that I'm aware of, so not sure why it would suddenly start being a problem? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

And it's now working again. Without me doing anything. Now definitely tending towards the talktalk !!!! up theory. Where's the company rep when you need him?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I get this all the time. It corrects itself without me doing anything, so would appear to be a problem with talk talk, not your computer.£2012 in 2012 = £34.440
