They do have a FB page; a reply is often forthcoming if you post there

In my view, the best thing you can do is to collate the details in preparation for a court case. So, get all your times of when they should have been there, the work they should have done, photos of any work not done if possible, and send these details in a letter before action to the company. A nice professional letter with just the facts, and asking for a reasonable resolution, will look good to the court if it gets that far.

The company really only has three options, resolve the matter to your satisfaction, defend the case or ignore you. The court is likely to respond quite negatively to the final option, and if your case is well prepared it will be potentially hard for the company to defend this type of case. But always seek legal advice of course where possible.

From experience of this type of case, reputable companies will try and come to some resolution before court action. A reputable company should usually want happy customers, no bad publicity and often equally importantly, it can take hours to prepare and attend a court case, so it's usually easier to resolve the matter now.

Good luck in a swift resolution!

Shocking service from Mary Moppins Lowestoft!

Definitely send a letter before action, although be clear if you're asking for a refund of £X (say £200) or requesting that someone else comes and cleans the house.

Did your neighbour say how long they were watching TV for?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
