MSE more vocal on energy hikes?!

Over the years MSE has been a massive help to me and i'm sure thousands of other users. Just one gripe, everytime energy firms hike the prices (usually around this time of year) all we seem to get is advice on how to try and "beat" the increases and no real mention of how the companies are allowed to get away with the practice year upon year whilst posting record profits time and time again. Surely it would not be out of place for the site team or Martin to have a good old rant and rave about greedy companies and executives whilst the poor old British public are being had yet again, at a time when every penny counts. So come on Boys and Girls, time to let rip and show the energy bods that they are being closely watched by someone with a serious voice and alot of clout.
Cheers fubb2

Unfortunately, while large in absolute terms, the amount per customer is quite small.
To quote 'Profits for British Gas’s residential energy supply business are expected to grow 6pc to £575m aided by higher usage of gas due to colder weather.'
Or, about 38 pounds a customer.
    Energy is becoming more expensive.
It is a globally traded commodity, for which there is growing demand.
It's not solely 'greedy' buisnesspeople, but consumers willing to buy it at that price.

Convince everyone in the UK to cut their energy use 20%, and bills will fall somewhat more than 20% as inefficient power stations are switched off.

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
