Trying to download a coupon I got:
"Internet Explorer has blocked this site from using an ActiveX control in an unsafe manner" in a line at the top of the screen.
There was no option to over-ride this.
Can I reset the controls somehow?

No legit site has been using activex for around a decade, it is such a security risk. How sure are you this voucher is legit, not just bait to infect you?0

The voucher was advertised in the Freebies forum here:No legit site has been using activex for around a decade, it is such a security risk. How sure are you this voucher is legit, not just bait to infect you?

However, it seems to be part of another related ongoing issue I have.

I logged off, logged on as administrator, went to same site, and downloaded the voucher no problem.
Maybe despite the error message, it was nothing to do with ActiveX, but was another flash-related problem?0
