Hi,
this is a question for a friend.Nothing to do with ebay, only paypal.
Customer orders goods and pays via paypal.
Friend sends items tracked (pallet, cost nearly £60) to address (confirmed) in paypal.
Buyer says "thats my old address,i dont want it now, give me a refund"
So the goods are now sitting outside someone elses property.
What would you,as the seller do?
Has the seller any right to say "poke it!"

I had one yesterday - thankfully just for £15.
I mark as dispatched and provide tracking. 8 hours later a get a new address off buyer saying they have moved.
Today a got an email off ebay saying another bid on my item was dodgey - and ive already posted.
I knew this quite period would end - they come in three's don't they? Wonder whats next.
As above - did anyone sign for the items. If so - that would probably be enough to win a claim.0 -
I don't understand these numpty's, the delivery address is clearly shown on the checkout, with the option to change it, yet they don't.
Tell you friend's customer to contact the courier & should they open a case to enter the tracking number & details supplied by the customer0 -

Just to highlight, if there is no tracking, there is a danger here of a variation of "the pay by paypal, pick up and launch an item not received scam".
The first thing I'd do is find out who is at the address where the items have been delivered and get the item(s) back before the buyer claims non-receipt and coincidentally, the items have disappeared without trace!"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."
