Double glazing company anyone?

Does anyone know of an honest, good quality double glazing company that won't want to send a rep to my house to waste an hour of my time showing me their product, bend my ear about their 'outstanding warranty' and then offer me a series of ever decreasing prices if i 'just sign now'? And I definitely don't need a lesson in thermodynamics!
All I want is someone to measure up while I look at their samples, go away and then send me a (just one) quote I can deliberate on.
Is that too much to ask?:(

Your best bet is to try established local companies, rather than the big nationals. I haven't had the hard sell from any small local company yet.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -

Apologies, missed the obvious.
In North Norfolk. Local companies so far approached are Anglian Home Improvements (the much publicised never ending discounts approach) and Anglian 1st Home Improvements (no apparent link to the former and the 'hard sell sign now' approach).
Thanks to all.....0 -
My BIL works for Horsford windows and I dont believe the do any hard selling. My BIL and his work mate installed our double glazing for us and did a great job. From looking at their website they have an office in Cromer. Might be worth ringing up.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090
