Wireless Problem

I have a wireless network problem I seem to have 2 other BT hubs showing up in the network smart wizard. I keep getting disconnected from the internet, and can’t find a way of getting ride of the other 2 hubs; any help would be most appetite.

Do they all have the same name? Do they appear when the hub is off?

If they belong to neighbours, try changing the ssid to something unique

if not, right click on your wireless network icon (bottom right), open network connections, right click wireless network, properties, delete the spurious ones, and set yours to auto connect.

Thanks albertross the other 2 have different ssid, dont know yet if they appear when hub is off will have to check later. Dum? could the other ssids be other PCs in the house.

Not if the smart wizard is only set to find access points. If not then the other pcs would have to have been given those ssid names deliberately. In all likelihood they are simply your neighbours' networks. On some days I pick up 5 or 6 wireless networks from my house.
