Shower problems

Well I posted this before but asking if I had any rights contacting the council who installed my shower because the house had been bought since. The answer was no- since the house was bought it was my problem (even thoough it's their fault for installing it improperly.
Anyway, it's a Mira elite 2 and the temperature changes constanly from warm to boiling to freezing and it also makes a whirring noise when it's running.
Another problem is the drain - it makes a gurgling noise. The water flows into a pipe (which isn't actually fixed to the basin of the shower and then goes through a tiny hole.
Who could I get to see about this?
Thanks

Sounds like the heating element (the "can") is misbehaving. How old is it? You could phone Mira and see what they say, but I suspect you need to get an electrician to have a look and then decide between a new part or a new shower. Also, are you in a hard water area? That could be a problem too.Anyway, it's a Mira elite 2 and the temperature changes constanly from warm to boiling to freezing and it also makes a whirring noise when it's running.
Need more details, please. How big is this "tiny hole"? Who to see about this is a plumber, who may also be able to help with the shower.Another problem is the drain - it makes a gurgling noise. ThanksA house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Thanks for the advice, Bob. Just to clarify that the hole seems as if it should be there, I don't know why the drain wasn't installed just to flow straight down. And no, I don't live in a hardwater area.0
